League Information

The Kinsmen Football League (KFL) is a minor tackle football league that has been operating in Saskatoon for 50 years. There are two (2) age groups in the KFL: the peewee age group is for 11 and 12 year old players, while the Bantam age group is for 13 and 14 year old players. The Peewee league is Canadian 9-man football rules (new in 2017), and the Bantam league is Canadian 12-man football rules.

For 2019, to be eligible to play, the birth dates are as follows:
Peewee: between Nov 1, 2006 and Dec 31, 2008
Bantam: between Nov 1, 2004 and Dec 31, 2006

The league operates as a tackle football league in the fall season only. All required equipment is provided for registered players by the league, with the exception of cleats, mouthguards and protective girdles for sanitary reasons. The fees are kept low with the exceptional support of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon and other grants in cooperation with Kidsport and Candian Tire.

Fees for the 2019 season are $370 (minus $100 Football Sask Lottery Rebate)
