Saskatoon Minor Football in partnership with the Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre and Ignite Athletics is proud to announce the launch of the Institute of Saskatchewan Football to start classes Jan 30, 2025. The Instute of Saskatchewan Football will place an emphasis of Performance and Excellence in Academics, Athletic Development, and Football. The Institute will be launched in second semester of the 2024/2025 school year to develop passionate dedicated football players looking to further themselves as student-athletes. 

Student-Athletes selected to be a part of the academy will receive a full secondary academic experience through our partnership with the Sask DLC while furthing their athletic development with Ignite Athletics and football development with top level coaching provided by Saskatoon Minor Football.

The application process starts by prospective student-athletes applying to be in the institute between May 10, 2024 and June 24, 2024. The application will include:

• Personal Information Form (Application)
• Academic Honors
• Activiies/Awards: Extracurricular, Personal, and Volunteer
• Personal Statement of Why You Want to Be Considered
• Character Reference from a Coach/Teacher/Employer/Family Friend
